This field book contains a list of plant specimens numbered 1-39, but not in order. The notebook also contains dated entries from 21 October to 3 November 1971 listing taxonomic names, descriptions of the locations where specimens were found, notes on abundance, and a note when a photo was taken. Collector numbers include 2121-2158. Some Abbreviations are used to note additional information. Two examples are "FAA" and "3:1", which are used to refer to seedlings and inflorescence. These have their own set of numbers (514-524). Locations include but are not limited to Cerro Jefe, Cerro Campana, Agua Clara in province of colon, and Barro Colorado Island
